BioJapan is one of the world’s oldest biotechnology trade shows. It was held for the first time in 1986. In 2016 another exhibition area was added for “Regenerative Medicine Japan,” which presents the latest in research and development in regenerative medicine, including induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS), and efforts to accelerate innovation and industrialize the field. A dedicated “partnering” area and more exhibition space came in 2020 as well. This part of the show is called “Health Tech Japan.” It’s where exhibitors present goods and services that connect digital technologies with the life sciences. A congress is held in conjunction with BioJapan. It includes some 200 seminars and presentations by companies that are exhibiting. What is more, this year a shared stand, the German Pavilion, will be back for the first time since 2019 and the two years of pandemic that followed. HEALTH MADE IN GERMANY will be on site and is your contact point for information about the German Biotechnology industry.
