WORLD HEALTH SUMMIT
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year's World Health Summit (WHS) will be slightly smaller in scale than its predecessors. At the same time, the event in Berlin will simultaneously be offered as a virtual, interactive conference. The spread of COVID-19 has highlighted how vital improving global healthcare is. Meanwhile, it has also shown how significant strong, international and interdisciplinary cooperation continues to be in addressing global health issues. A gathering like the WHS – which focuses on topics such as pandemic prevention and care, universal health insurance, the improvement of healthcare systems, and universal access to healthcare – has been never been more timely.
